A Serious Man

The latest entry into the Coen Brothers' catalog is a dark comedy dressed up as a drama. I'm at a bit of a loss to describe the film. It is rather slow-moving but I've never minded such movies as long as the script is good. I guess I'd say that the film is a series of character studies. It is kind of like being dropped into the middle of small-town America and being a fly on the wall for a while.

If you like... well... serious movies, you might want to give this a shot. Rebecca didn't like it but I really enjoyed it.
