How nice is it to be stuck in the office on a beautiful monday afternoon. A few thoughts at lunch time:
- These are the people that are protesting David Letterman. Every single person in this interview accused him of being a rapist. Some said that he was dirtbag for having a child out of wedlock. Another said that we have too much freedom. And one brain surgeon said that black people were the problem. Give it a listen to hear the bigotry in this group.
- As a technophile it kills me not to have an iPhone. Some of the apps absolutely amaze me. Can you imagine being able to hold the phone up to a song and the phone will tell you the name of the song? I hear there is a new reach-around app. Ugh. I want. The "problem" is that I have a cell phone through work and and a home phone through majickjack ($20 a year). In essence this would be a $1200-a-year toy.
- I had to re-register my domain name yesterday (because, you know, there is a line out the door for people waiting to get "muchgooder.com"). In case you wonder what it costs to keep it, the yearly registration is $32 and then another $20 to keep my information private.
- I think I found my next project for the fall - hosting a webcast. That's right, I want to be able to host my own web show from my basement. Take a look at the video below for an example of this. The backdrop is actually a green screen (many news shows use this) and I already have one of those. I have a video camera and a microphone. I could have guests and take calls
(the show starts 4 minutes into the clip - you can just fast forward to get there)
Yeah yeah, I know the reality of my little endeavor. I hate seeing myself on film. I hate hearing my voice even more. And who would call? Nobody stops by - that could make it tough to get guests. I know I can count on one green screen guest:
here
.
- For those of you that haven't see the "literal videos", check this one out. Someone had this genius ide of changing lyrics to songs to match what is going on in the video. Genius, I say.
(And for the record, isn't this video kind of creepy? Why is this grown woman checking out all these kids at this boarding school?)

Actually, one woman referred to him as "bastard". It seems like she might be a little off on her definition of the word. Who would have thunk that these fine citizens weren't the most educated bunch on the planet.

So, Letterman is a dirtbag for having a child out of wedlock? What did that genius have to say about Bristol Palin?
