Connecticut and Yankee Stadium

This was our uber-quick trip to Connecticut and Yankee Stadium (7/1 to 7/3).

7/1 We drove had a quick stop in Rochester for an appointment before heading to Connecticut. We did a little blading when we got there.
7/2 We spent the morning at the Mark Twain House in Hartford (we recently saw the Ken Burns documentary on him) and then off to Sleeping Giant State Park for some hiking (see here for some more cool stuff). We met with our friend Bubba for dinner that night. Before that, an unbelievable downpour hit Waterbury and the entire block lost power (just as Rebecca was getting out of the shower).
7/3 Yankee stadium in its first season. Yanks won! We drove home that night.
