Silence the Musical

What a great weekend in Buffalo. The temp in my back yard hit 89.6 on Saturday (April 3rd). The funny thing is that only a few hours later it was in the 40's. Here is the history of the day.

- I can't believe that I didn't post this one sooner. Believe it or not, a couple of guys made something called "Silence of the Lambs, the Musical" and it is freaking hilarious. The music is surprisingly catchy as well - I've been humming "put the f'ing lotion in the basket all day" (I just cringed as I wrote that). You can listen to that song here, or you can see and listen to the whole thing here. Warning - you will need headphones if you are at work.

- I know I wrote about a similar protest here, but I would be failing my duties as a male blogger if I did not mention that there was another topless protest in Maine over the weekend. I've said it before and I'll say it again - life just works out sometimes. I'm not exactly sure what they were trying to promote or protest because it is already legal to let them out in Maine.

(Insert hacky line about me going on vacation).

- This is still my favorite pic of the last year. Madonna is the new skeletor:

- In the spirit of keeping things light today, this one is another classic. You've probably heard Pearl Jam's "Yellow Ledbetter"? If you have you'll know that you can't understand a single freaking word in the entire song but you don't mind because the music is pretty good. Some guy decided that he knew what the lyrics were:
