Ah, 2008. First of all, I have to say that I hate New Year's resolutions (is it "New Years" or "New Year's"? I'll stick with what I had). ANYWAY, my goal this year is to spend more time writing and less time making it easier to write. Those of you that know me are well aware that I am one to spend a ton of time making something and little time using it. I think that is half the fun of some of my "hobbies". Think about it... what can one really do with a
weather station
? I love doing things that are cool (at least in my feeble mind).
So back to the original topic... I think the other reason I've never been one to blog is that it just seems to make people seem terribly self-important. I mean, what do I care what someone else is rambling on about? I think that is why the majroity of the stuff on this site is technology know-how kind of stuff. Whether or not anyone reads it should be irrelevant so I'm just going to pretend that nobody is reading it. Writing is good for you, right?
Anyway, welcome 2008.
