    If you buy nothing else for your home theater, please buy a Harmony Remote. Go out and do it NOW. This particular model is infrared and will work in any room of the house. Why would you want to do that? We have the output of our satellite receiver split out to both the hot tub room and the exercise room. This remote allows us to run three televisions without paying for three receivers.

    This is all-in-one remote controls your entire home theater with the touch of a button. It is configured on the computer... simply hook it up to the pc, log in to the manufacturer website and choose your home theater components. At that point, one button launches an activity that turns on the proper components and sets up the correct inputs. There are no codes to type in or any of the archaic nonsense that you used to have to do with remote controls.
