    You would think that a movie with an all-star cast and director couldn't miss, right? Well, this one kind of did. It wasn't that there was anything necessarily wrong with it. There just wasn't much right with it. I didn't look at my watch while it was on but at the same time I was indifferent when it ended.

    The bigger problem I had was the complete re-write of historical events. The characters were completely tranformed from who they were in real life. Instead of making Dillinger out to be a gangster (he wasn't), why not just portray him as the people's hero that he was? There were several scenes where Dillinger was shown in front of adoring crowds but not once did the director tell us why.
