    Putting aside my feelings of Roman Polanski for a moment, if I am being honest with myself I have to say that I really enjoyed this film. The dialogue and story were fantastic and the acting was excellent. I thought that the ending was a little weak - I really expected the type of ending that happened in The Firm. I guess the book ended that way but for some reason Polanski went a different way.

    The notable exception to all of this was the casting of Kim Cattrall. In some scenes she didn't even attempt an English accents but in other scenes she seemed to be doing a parody accent. Thirty years later she's still getting run because of Porkys - that's amazing.
